The Venue

In spring of 2004, Blue Hill at Stone Barns opened within the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Pocantico Hills, New York. The owners - Dan, David, and Laureen Barber - helped create the philosophical and practical framework for Stone Barns Center, a working four-season farm and educational center just 30 miles north of New York City, and continue to help guide it in its mission to create a consciousness about the effect of everyday food choices.

Sourcing from the surrounding fields and pasture, as well as other local farms, Blue Hill at Stone Barns highlights the abundance of the Hudson Valley. The restaurant has received 2 Michelin Stars and has been listed among the “World’s 50 Best Restaurants”

Colette and Spencer loved to walk around the Stone Barns property in the early years of their courtship and still do! See below for evidence from August of 2012! (Photo by Colette)

FAQs

What to Expect

As you arrive at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, you'll have a few moments to view the Dooryard Garden, enjoy a refreshing welcome beverage, and settle in for the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we’ll enjoy a cocktail reception in the restaurant and on the patio with seasonal small bites featuring produce grown right on the farm, followed by a four course meal with wine pairings in the Hayloft! If you have specific dietary restrictions, Blue Hill will be happy to accommodate you, please let your waiter know as you take your seat.

Post dinner, we will make our way downstairs to the Haybarn to celebrate until 1am!

What is the Dress Code?

Black tie Optional. Men - break out that tuxedo or go with a dark suit if you prefer. Women - formal gown or cocktail dress, don’t shy away from color. Please note, while our wedding is on a farm, you'll always be on solid ground, so heels won't be an issue!

Will transportation be provided?

We will have shuttles to bring you to and from both the Marriott Westchester and Sheraton Tarrytown. Please meet for the shuttles at 5:15pm as the shuttles will be departing by 5:30pm. While we'd love for you to stay until 1am, we'll have shuttles available earlier if you prefer.

Can't wait to see you all!
Love,
Colette and Spencer
